His research and teaching focuses on the foreign and security policy of the European Union and its member states, with a particular focus on small states in the EU. He served as the director of studies in the Master of Area Studies at Charles University and currently serves as the director of studies in the Area Studies PhD programme. He participated in the E-NOTE project as the leader of the Charles University team, and contributed to the development of the Framework for Effective Teaching at Charles University.

He serves as the Coordinator for Innovation in Studies in the Dean's Team of the Faculty of Law and as an educational developer. He specialises in legal education, didactics of law and sociology of law, and holds Master's degrees in both Law and Education from Charles University. Since 2009 he has led the Prague Street Law programme, and for the last few years he has run didactic courses for teachers at Charles University and at other universities in the Czech Republic and abroad. He is a co-author of the Framework for Effective Teaching at Charles University.

He contributes to the strategic development of teaching competencies across the university and is actively involved in the design, development and coordination of professional development systems for academic staff and PhD candidates. He is responsible for coordinating the development of Faculty Teaching and Learning Centres, including aligning their activities, shaping shared procedures, developing methodological guidelines, and providing professional consultancy to centre staff. He is a co-author of the Framework for Effective Teaching at Charles University.

She holds an MA in International Relations from Leiden University and is currently pursuing a PhD at Charles University, where she also works as a lecturer. Her research focuses on European foreign policy, perceptions of EU member states toward China, non-coercive influence in international relations, and the development of EU-China relations. She participated in the E-NOTE project, which preceded LITE, and has been active in the field of non-formal education.

He specialises in international relations, foreign policy and global security, and his research examines Italy's role in geopolitics and the evolution of the international system. He served as Chair of the Department of Political and Social Sciences and as a member of the Academic Senate from 2018 to 2024, as Chairman of the University's Disciplinary Committee, as Departmental Delegate for Teaching, and as Director of the MA programme in Diplomatic and International Studies at the Forlì Campus. He leads teaching initiatives across the department.

His research focuses on youth studies, the interaction between labour market policies and social policies, and local welfare systems. He has served as Coordinator of the Master's Degree Programme in Criminological Sciences for Investigation and Security at the Forlì Campus, as Chair of the Joint Faculty-Student Committee of the Department of Political and Social Sciences, and as Delegate for Teaching within the same Department. He has taken part in several international research projects and is a member of the PhD Board in Political and Social Sciences.

His research focuses on collective violence, with particular reference to the strategies and organisational features of armed groups and organised crime, on the relationship between violence and governance, and on national security policies. He is Adjunct Professor of International Relations at Johns Hopkins University SAIS Europe, and has taught and researched at institutions including the University of Warwick, the University of Florence, LUISS Guido Carli and MIT. He is a member of the UNIBO Academic Senate.

He conducts research in the field of policy evaluation, with a focus on policies to widen participation in higher education. His research interests include the study of educational inequalities, social cohesion and the cultural aspects of ageing. He was previously a researcher at Bologna and, from 2009 to 2021, at IRVAPP, the Bruno Kessler Foundation's Institute for Evaluative Research on Public Policies. He serves as a member of the Joint Faculty-Student Committee and of the Teaching Committee of the Department.

He earned his PhD in Political Science from the Scuola Normale Superiore and previously held research positions at the University of Florence and the University of Bologna. He has extensive teaching experience in comparative politics, social policy and research methods, and has participated in several national and international research projects, including Horizon Europe, PRIN, DG REGIO-funded projects, and projects funded by the Finnish Academy. His research focuses on comparative welfare state analysis.

Since 2021 he has been head of TEACH and has been part of the centre's transformation from an integrated centre at the Faculty of Humanities into a centre serving the Faculties of Humanities, Social Sciences, Theology and Law. His background is in educational studies, researching dropout, retention and motivation in different educational settings. He has taught extensively across Danish universities at bachelor and master's level and at professional programmes, and has published and led workshops and training on educational leadership in higher education at both national and university level.

She holds an MA in Educational Science from the University of Copenhagen. She has taught at both bachelor and master's level and has supervised BA projects. At TEACH she focuses on peer supervision among academic staff and on workshops for pedagogical development. She has published on the unintended challenges for productive relationships between educational developers and academic staff in the context of an expanded institutional mandate to carry out development activities.

He has twenty years of experience as a consultant, policy advisor and scholar in the field of peace and security, diplomacy, global governance and higher education management. He coordinated the European Network on Teaching Excellence from 2020 to 2023, and has led and implemented multiple projects for the United Nations Department of Peace Operations, the European Parliament, and the French and German Ministries of Defence. He has served in leadership positions at university research institutes, at international associations including EUniWell, Una Europa and the Coimbra Group, and on think tank boards.

He has worked for more than a decade in Brussels and in The Hague with and for think tanks, academic institutions and organisations from across the EU, the Eastern Partnership countries and the US, devising and implementing research and education strategies, and building institutional capacity in grant acquisition and fundraising, internationalisation, teaching excellence and resilience. In 2018 he co-founded the Global Education and Innovation section of the Institute, and has since overseen the development of new educational formats and the implementation of grants on transnational higher education, adult education and vocational training.
