The University of Copenhagen was founded in 1479 and encompasses six faculties, 36 departments and more than 200 research centres. It has 37,000 students and 10,000 employees and is highly ranked on the leading ranking lists of the world's best universities. Through research-based teaching, students are equipped to address society's challenges and needs. The university focuses on interdisciplinary initiatives to support students and academic communities, as well as on sustainability, gender equality and diversity.

Members of the project team are affiliated with TEACH, the Centre for Teaching and Learning serving the Faculty of Humanities, the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Faculty of Theology and the Faculty of Law.
