Development of Support Frameworks and Training

🎒
WP3 turns the evidence gathered in WP2 into practical support for universities. Its purpose is to equip university leaders, Centres for Teaching and Learning (CTL) staff, academic staff, and administrators with the skills, frameworks, and strategies needed to lead and institutionalise teaching excellence. In concrete terms, WP3 develops a shared LITE Competence Framework for Teaching Excellence Leadership and uses it to create tailored training offers that respond to the different roles universities play in embedding teaching excellence into governance, career development, and support structures.

WP3 will produce three core results. First, it will develop four open-access training curricula: one on strategic leadership for teaching excellence led by GGI, one on creating effective CTLs led by Bologna, one on impactful CTL tools and approaches led by Copenhagen, and one on strategic leadership and institutionalisation led by Charles University. Second, these curricula will be piloted through four blended training programmes, each combining self-paced learning, live online sessions, and reflective follow-up work. Third, all materials, recordings, discussion spaces, and learning resources will be hosted in the LITE Blended Learning Environment, which will serve as an open and lasting digital resource within the wider LITE Portal. Together, WP3 gives universities not just analysis, but practical tools and training to strengthen leadership, support teaching innovation, and make teaching excellence more firmly embedded in institutional life.
