Building on the comprehensive mapping carried out via Intellectual Output 1, this proejct result consists of a best practice guide on how to evaluate, organise, reward and promote teaching excellence via standardised teaching qualification schemes or stand-alone trainings.
The best-practice guidelines focus on:
- how teaching excellence (online and offline) at undergraduate and graduate levels, including doctoral supervision, is being evaluated at different institutions and in their national contexts;
- the extent to which different schemes exist for rewarding and promoting teaching excellence (either through material or non-material incentives - i.e. career paths, teaching excellence prizes);
- how to develop teaching excellence qualification and awards.
